Called them and they told me to bring my dog in an hour. He was shaking, yelping, bloated, not eating and lethargic... by the end of the visit, he was better. The vet kind of laughed a little at me. He said he wasn't going to do any x rays or anything that costs a bunch of money. My dog had trapped gas. A little fart. Vet said if it persists to come back before they close but didn't want me to go into debt running a bunch of unnecessary tests.
I absolutely love the vets and techs at Walker. They're so sweet and kind and very transparent about cost. Their prices are really reasonable and they've got walk-in appts for a little extra money. That's definitely a plus in an area where the nearest 24 hour emergency vet is UC Davis!
This veterinarian took a last minute emergency and was so nice and accommodating that I would be happy to recommend the office to anyone. It’s a very pleasant and clean facility with friendly and competent staff who remain calm under an extremely busy atmosphere. I felt confident letting this office treat my fur baby!
