VALOR Training Center is a welcoming place known for its helpful staff and friendly members. They offer an adult technique class that provides detailed information on techniques for both left and right-handed individuals, as well as how they may vary for self-defense. The clientele mainly consists of young people, so older or less fit individuals might stand out. There could be more pre-training assistance and membership information available. The center also offers classes for children, with coaches who are hands-on and great with kids. The clients' children, aged 9 and 12, enjoy the training and the mix of male and female fighters. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is very welcoming, making everyone feel like part of the Valor family. The culture promotes respect, inclusiveness, family, and positivity. Coach Pat and Mike Rossi are approachable and involved, breaking down movements into easy steps, understanding individual goals, and providing great energy that motivates trainees. Mike Rossi made training simple while incorporating fundamentals, took time to understand what trainees wanted out of each session, and was flexible with scheduling. He was patient with errors and helped progress over time, offering recovery advice and post-session care tips. Overall, VALOR Training Center is a friendly and engaging place suitable for individuals of all ages and fitness levels to train, learn, and build confidence.
