Hi!I'm a 61 yo male, currently with several health issues. I was diagnosed with early onset Parkinsonism (different from Parkinson's) and tardive dyskinesia (caused by medicine.) I've also had 2 TIAS (minor strokes.)Recently, I had severe tremors, trouble walking and writing, and kept losing my balance. That's when I went to my PCP for help. This time, ataxia was the movement disorder responsible. I never heard of ataxia before. My PCP told me it was ataxia, a movement disorder. I had never heard of ataxia before, and was very alarmed at my sudden imbalance!
