123 S Pastoria Ave, Sunnyvale“My middle school child has been participating in a group band class as a drummer, and absolutely loves it! He gets to experience learning and creating music in a collaborative setting, and added bonus they all sounded great when we got to hear them perform! Gabriela is an excellent teacher and group leader. I also find her very responsive and communicative via emails about the class, school, payments, scheduling, etc.“

407 California Ave Unit.8, Palo Alto“We feel very fortunate that our children studied piano with Isabelle. Over the past six years, she guided my son with patience and skill — helping him build a strong foundation, develop excellent sight-reading, and grow a genuine love for Classical music. Thanks to her teaching, he discovered the joy of composers like Mozart and Beethoven and even earned several major awards along the way. Isabelle also made piano fun and engaging for my daughter right from the start. We’re truly grateful for her dedication and highly recommend her to any family looking for a teacher who can nurture both skill and passion.“

230 Florence St, Sunnyvale“Lessons from Richard are educational, engaging and fun. I have been taking tenor sax lessons from Richard for over a year. He has helped inspire me to commit to my instrument more than I ever have over twenty years since I've owned and played a horn. His lessons are both reasonably priced and thoroughly enjoyable. I enjoy the ease of his teaching style, his knowledge and depth of music theory, and perhaps most of all, I appreciate his great sense of humor. I find his teaching style to strike the right balance of being encouraging and gently pushing me to grow as a player. The structure of the lessons are also very appealing. They are a blend of warm up exercises, theory, scales, and playing some songs. Almost immediately after beginning my lessons we began to work on tunes (in my case, jazz standards). Learning to sight read has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my education with Richard. I never thought I would read as well as I do and I have him to thank for it.I highly recommend him as a teacher whether you are completely new, intimidated by your horn or, like me, been sitting with your neglected sax for a number of years, but have always dreamed of making it sing again.“

139 Jeter St, Redwood City“We wanted instructor that could teach my sons (5 and 8 at the time) to become the best pianists and musicians they can be, without hurting their love of music. My older son had outgrown his last (wonderful) school, and we needed someone who was skilled enough to instruct him for years down the road. And of course, because my boys are still children, we needed someone patient and kind.
Teacher Marie is that piano teacher.
She as the technical chops: studied at the Tchaikovsky College of Music, MA at CSU Long Beach, followed by 15 years of teaching. Just as importantly though, she's kind, engaging and patient while still correcting and teaching my kids with gentle firmness -- she really seems to know and appreciate them as inidividuals.
My wife is the musician in the family, and she also tells me that the curriculum they're working from is an excellent one, and far better than the one my wife started with.
Her studio is a bright airy space surrounded by a garden in a quiet neighborhood. She holds recitals for her students (which we like) and supports her students in achieving music exam certifications (which Marie allows parents to opt out).
It's been over a year now, and the boys have grown so much in that time with Marie.“

1880 S Grant St, San Mateo“An excellent school to study both ballet and piano. My daughter and I are delighted to be able to have our hobbies at the same place at the same time! Ballet teacher Ludmilla is extremely technical and cares a lot about the psychological and physical well being of her ballerinas. I progressed with leaps and bounds with the patient and firm teaching of piano teacher Yelena, though I took piano as an adult.“
