We called on a Monday afternoon explaining our needs & then Jeff explained his cleaning procedure. Jeff came out the next day & made a huge difference in our carpets & chair. We found that his price was very reasonable. Thank you for everything. We will call again. We give CHEM -DRY of Tehachapi 5 stars.

This was a different type of carpet cleaning than I've had from other carpet cleaning businesses. I believe it's because Chem-Dry is a different process than the typical carpet cleaner. If you understand the difference, I think that can help manage your expectation. And that's why I'm giving 4 stars, even though I personally was not happy with my carpet afterward. (I didn't realize this is a different thing than I'm used to & was expecting.) What I'm happy with: - Jeff is a great communicator, and is very professional. He was available when I needed him, and he came when he said he would. He quoted me the price before I gave the go-ahead to do the service. - The top surface of the carpet felt sterilized & crispy clean. - It dried extraordinarily fast. What I am disappointed by: - it was pricier than I'd expect to pay (based on having hired other carpet cleaners) - I don't believe it pulled up all the dirt from the base of the carpet. It seems like it cleaned the top half of the carpet plies. (I pulled out my home carpet cleaner to get a few spots I saw emerge after a few days, and a LOT of dirt came up.) - The surface of the carpet is left crisp & crunchy. (Thankfully it did soften back once we cleaned it ourselves with our home carpet cleaner.) My conclusion is that this cleans & sterilizes the top half of the carpet, but isn't a deep cleaning of the carpet.

Like all the other 5 star reviews, we agree and are completely satisfied with the work quality and service. This is the second time using Chem-dry and will keep using them in the future unless the ownership changes. I could feel the clean difference with our carpet after the last cleaning. Also, we had some bar stools cleaned and they look so much better after all the food the kids drop on them. Thanks so much!
