Rio Nails & Spa offers a welcoming and spacious environment, with friendly staff. The nail technicians, such as Andrew, are professional and gentle in their work, taking the time to understand customers' needs and exceed their expectations. The salon provides a range of services, including pedicures, with reasonable prices and a relaxed atmosphere. While some services, such as the massage, may not meet luxury spa standards, overall the salon delivers quality experiences and happy customers.
Andrew is by far the best nail tech I have encountered in South Lake. He is very gentle with the tools, always listens to what I want, and is incredibly professional in his work. I go in every few weeks for a fill and am always very happy with his work. 10/10 recommend.
Spacious, clean and welcoming environment! Staff is very friendly! Andrew, Rio employee voted, "Best Nail Technician 2023" in South Lake Tahoe- has been doing my nails for 3 years and I have loved every set! He takes his time and cares to reach customer's expectations and also is very kind! Here are a few sets over the years!
I have visited other nail salons nearby and thought I would try somewhere new. I had a pedicure. The price was reasonable and the service was just okay. It was in the afternoon and not very busy which was fantastic. Leo was my nail tech and was very nice and friendly. I upgraded my pedicure package to include a sugar scrub and callus remover. The massage that came with the upgrade was more like a rub and didn't provide me with the experience that I was expecting, I would not suggest an upgrade. If you are looking for a luxury resort spa experience, this is not the place. If you want a quality experience, I would recommend this salon.
