About Per Haaland Rolfing
Per Haaland Rolfing offers personalized Rolfing sessions that cater to the unique needs of each client. Per's extensive training and expertise allow him to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries and imbalances, reducing pain and discomfort while restoring optimal structural alignment in the body. As a professional dancer and movement teacher, Per has developed specific skills for working with performers and athletes, making Rolfing for athletes one of his specialties. His approach is holistic, focusing on the integration of the whole body, which leads to improvements in areas that may not be immediately apparent. Per's sessions involve a combination of physical, occupational, and dance therapy, along with guided exercise, massage, and pressured manipulation of vertebrates, muscles, and other body parts. He takes the time to explain his work and provide valuable insights into body mechanics and posture, helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their body. Per's clients have reported significant improvements in their physical and mental well-being, including reduced pain, improved posture, and a newfound sense of balance and alignment. His approach is patient-centered and focused on co-creating wellness, rather than simply treating symptoms. Per's demeanor is warm and welcoming, creating a comfortable and safe environment for healing. He listens attentively and is genuinely invested in the well-being of his clients, making him an exceptional Rolf practitioner.
In a word-AWESOME! Per the master ROLF practitioner asks a few questions but mainly listens to the kinesiology of your frame. It remains somewhat unclear how the application of his skillful hands brings immediate relief. In the long term, the intervention brings body restoration-realignment that is delivered alongside patient, anatomy-physiology lessons (body awareness is key to the Rolfing process) co-creating wonderful wellness. The sessions are productive, pain-free and not at all weird or woo woo. Elements of physical, occupational and dance therapy plus guided exercise, massage and pressured manipulation of vertebrates, muscles and more results in an hour well spent!...read full review
Per is by far the best Rolf practitioner I've ever seen and has helped with a multitude of issues over the years from pain to posture to sleep. Highly recommend.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a series of Rolfing sessions with Per Haaland, and I can confidently say that it has been a transformative journey for both my body and mind. From the very first session, Per's expertise, professionalism, and genuine care were evident, making each visit a remarkable experience.
Per's deep understanding of the human body and his skilled technique are truly exceptional. He has a unique ability to identify and address the root causes of pain and tension, rather than just treating the symptoms. Each session was tailored to my specific needs, with Per taking the time to explain what he was doing and why. This not only helped...read full review
