Tried twice to become a patient. My registration paperwork was lost both times. After over a month, I still couldn’t get established and had to go elsewhere. There was no sense of urgency, care, or concern—patients are treated with total lack of care or concern.

I’m really disappointed with the care I received. I went in hoping to figure out what was actually causing my symptoms, but instead of taking the time to investigate or order basic tests first, the provider gave me a diagnosis almost immediately. It didn’t feel like they were listening or trying to understand the full picture. Only after I insisted, blood work was finally done and when it came back completely normal, instead of revisiting the first diagnosis or considering other possibilities, they suddenly suggested something entirely different was wrong. The whole experience felt rushed, dismissive, and not at all thorough. I left feeling more confused than when I arrived. I expect a healthcare provider to take the time to understand what’s going on before labeling it as something, and unfortunately that did not happen here. I hope they improve their process, because patients deserve thoughtful, careful care. Really disappointed with the Sonora clinic.

This place sucks, for the third time we had drove an hour just to be told our appointment was never put in the system and there is nothing we can do.

Three separate times we have driven an hour for appointments that they never put in the system. We even have the cards saying the date they had us down for and they refused to accept it. After Dr. Murdock left this place went downhill.

I've been a patient for over 22yrs, long before the Mono Way Clinic existed. Throughout those years, I was awed by the dedication of my practitioner, Steve Acuna, and those who directly assisted him. It was wonderful having a medical team that truly cared about not only about my physical well being, but even spiritually... in a manner of speaking!
The road at Mact has indeed gotten a little bumpier in recent history. Steve retired, and continues to be sorely missed! His replacement has left, as with a handful of other providers recently. This has obviously left Mact in a real bind. There's a serious shortage of medical professionals throughout the country, and Mact is facing some heavy competition. Our physical location can be a handicap, not exactly suitable to many.
My hope regarding Mact's personnel shortage is that it soon will pass. Throughout my years at Mact, I have been treated with kindness, and understanding by nearly every member of staff. I see my new NP in a couple weeks. I feel postively confident... my health care needs will be in very capable hands. Hang in there!

Edit. Just called again since my son is still sick, what the hell is the point in having a primary care doctor if they never have availability? This is ridiculous. Love Dr.Conte, but a big part of the reason I switched from Dr.Sullivan of forest road is because they never had any openings for when my son was sick. It was always a week to two weeks later. I looked around quite a bit for a new doctor that had same day appointments available and now I’m having the same issue at both of Conte’s locations. I can never get my kids in when they’re sick. Just well checks and immunizations. I know they’re busy and there’s a lot of people in our area, but maybe have a few more walk in spots available so a sick child can actually see a doctor that knows them. Not a prompt care doctor that will just say it’s a virus and send them on their way, with nothing but, come back if they get worse. When I was checking in my son one of the last times I was there you can see right on the wall that they have certain times for same day/walk-in appointments but they never have any available. So here I am heading to another 3 hour wait at prompt care where he’ll likely catch something else and make me miss work and him miss day care even longer.
