When we decided to lose the downdraft evaporative cooler original to the house, we called Matt Foust for guidance. One call to Jacy at the front office, and Matt was assessing our home within days. As we’re old school, we aren’t thrilled with the optics of the mini split units that are extremely efficient. We were looking for the efficiency of the mini splits with the familiarity of a forced air central installation. Matt instinctively knew what we wanted, and on the spot made a quick design model. Matt, working closely with Mike Scott at Pace plumbing supply, came up with a state of the art GE mini split exterior pump unit utilizing an Air Handler supplying the floor registers, affording us the benefits of both.The Foust crew showed up on time from the first day of the install. They were professional, respectful, clean and extremely knowledgeable about each one of their duties. The way they worked so well together was remarkable to watch, and they kept me informed every step of the way what they were installing. You don’t get that except from long experience, and superior training. We couldn’t be happier with the results, or the experience. Troy, Sean, Rusty, and Wyatt made the install look easy. Troy walked me through the operation of the system while the rest of the crew cleaned up behind themselves as if they’d never been there. Matt himself came over the next day to do a point by point inspection of the install and make sure I understood the programmable thermostat operation. Not only did we get an outstanding system installed, the overall cost was very competitive, and the final bill was exactly as proposed. I’d give these guys 10 stars if I could, and I’m old, jaded, and not easily impressed these days. Definitely recommend them for anything from a service call to a whole house install.
