I hadn’t gotten a haircut in 8 years and decided to try Jet Rhys because I had heard wonderful things and wanted to get my hair cut (and possibly dyed) for college. Indeed, everything about the experience was PERFECT!!! Mai cut my hair and was excellent. She listened to everything I had to say and was very sensitive to my hair preferences—checking with me to make sure the length was correct, etc. My hair looks absolutely beautiful after the cut! The staff was also attentive to my allergies when choosing which hair products to use. I am definitely coming back to dye my hair, too! I can’t recommend Jet Rhys enough!

I here working and had a great experience from the girl who washed hair to stylist . Everyone was friendly and I got a great haircut . They even fit me in on the same day .

I just had my hair cut by Makenna and couldn’t be happier. I went in with weighted down, dried out curls and left with a bouncy, voluminous layered cut. She was so patient answering all my questions and I left feeling a million times better than when I walked in. Thanks, Makenna!

This salon is a lovely gem just north of La Jolla. The layout is very nice and comfortable. It doesn't get too loud like some salons can be and there is plenty of parking in the back. I've seen Christine a few times and she does a lovely cut that has always grown out beautifully until my next appointment. I love getting a cut from her and then stopping at The Monarch in Del Mar for a bowl of scallop (yep..scallop!) chowder on the way back to PB. There is something so nice about having lunch overlooking the ocean after getting a great cut!

This salon used to be so lovely, and I've been coming for a few years for haircuts with Mallory, who was the best. She recently left, so I tried someone else and got a haircut from someone else. I showed her a photo of my intended haircut, which was my go-to with Mallory, but it felt like she was in a rush, didn't look closely at the photo, and kept bulldozing me when I was trying to say what I wanted. I had a bizarre haircut with pretty short, jagged pieces in the front. I came back later that day to show her, and she did see that my bangs were messed up, apologized, and tried to fix it, but the damage was done, and I have random very short hairs now that I'm hoping will grow out soon. I was disappointed afterward, given that I saved for so long for this haircut, and left feeling much worse than I came in. The front desk ladies were unfriendly as well. I would not come back here any longer. I recommend going to Mallory Wehrung instead. Shoutout, however, to the lady who washed my hair. She was so sweet, and she made that part a luxurious experience.

I really love Jet Rhys! They are all so talented! I know I can trust my long black hair with anyone there. They wash and massage your hair and it comes out sooooo nice. I found them when I needed to maintain my hair for my wedding I was so pleased with my haircuts. No more split ends and i had a picture of what I wanted and it came out so nice! They are a bit pricey though and I consider it as an investment in yourself :) From the time you come in you're greeted and they ask you if you want a "drink" lol but each time I just get a water or politely decline. Great Salon!!!! :)
