Grotto Spa, located in Solana Beach, offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service and ample parking. It is highly recommended for travelers seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, particularly for its outstanding deep tissue massage. The skilled therapists, such as the one who provided a 90-minute session for a guest with lower back and foot pain, are commended for their strong and effective techniques. Regular customers appreciate the full-body massages, which help restore their bodies to optimal condition.
Angela at the front desk was fantastic—greeted me with a warm smile right as I walked in. I briefly explained exactly what kind of massage I was looking for, and she made sure to communicate everything perfectly to the therapist.
The massage itself was excellent and hit the spot. It’s a very relaxing, comfortable environment, and the staff really takes care of you. I’ll definitely be back.
Was expecting better since I had a great experience at the Carlsbad location. Very disappointed to say at the very least. The deep tissue massage was not deep tissue at all, just a bunch of body oil and light hands.
Booked a spur of the moment Reflexology massage and when asked for a time, was told to come on in now.
So very glad I did. Wasn’t sure what to expect I get regular monthly massages for years. This massage was pretty much full body and was amazing. I felt rejuvenated and soreness in one ankle and knee (from previous injury) felt so good and soreness is gone. Highly recommend and I might even get another one before I head home this weekend. Thank you Grotto Spa.
