I have been doing pre-planning and price comparisons thus visited a few different cemeteries and options in LA. Most places within the city limits are VERY pricey, with the cheapest option for a plot starting at $15k. Assumption Cemetery is very reasonably priced and also located in a nice, quiet, residential area and nowhere near a noisy freeway or in a heavily industrialized or commercial district so it's much more tranquil and peaceful.

Thanks is all I have to say about this place the security especially, my party had probably received complaints about noise that we created celebrating a lost one they treated us with respect and reminded us kindly that other people were there to mourn as were we. We appreciate the manner in which they handled the situation and are very happy to be more careful in the future. What a nice serene place to visit a loved one!!!
Of all the places of which you would consider writing a review, a cemetery may likely not make your top-10 list, however when great service is provided it warrants great recognition. My father-in-law passed away recently after a battle with cancer. Anyone with any experience dealing with this monster of a disease knows just how traumatic it can be, and how welcome any amount of care and compassion can be in the aftermath. That's exactly what my family and I received from Assumption Cemetery – Simi Valley.
