Got a hair cut from Vuthy and I love it. She did exactly what I asked for and did a great job. Also was very friendly and accommodating with my schedule. Will be coming back here for my next cut
Karen is a hair whisperer- really. I had been visiting another salon in Belmont Shores Long Beach for years. My last visit with that salon was a disaster. My hairdresser- of over 2 years- must not have been paying attention. My hair was cut uneven (not a style - a mistake), I had bangs when I didn’t ask or want them and I had huge cut out of the back of my hair which made no sense. I’ve been wearing hats for months to cover up the botched haircut. I found Encore online and the reviews were good so I thought I’d give it a shot. Karen has been my hair stylist for 4 years now and I cannot say enough good things about her. She takes the time to find out exactly what I am asking whether it be bangs, a slightly different color or just keeping it as is.
She is not afraid to try something different but will be the first to tell you if it’s not going to be a good look on you.
I always look forward to walking into her shop with her enthusiastic and positive attitude! Oh, and I love cruising her boutique of hand picked items. You can get your hair done and shop at the same time!
