Just FYI, they are completely booked out and haven't updated their advertising. I called earlier in the week, never got a call back, got a call now and was quickly advised that they aren't taking any new appointments. Could barely get a word in in edgewise. Such a shame, was looking forward to bringing my child here for his first haircut but now I'm glad I didn't because even before going in person I could tell their professionalism is lacking. I remember this place from when I was a kid in the 90s and wanted to bring my own son here. I'll be skipping it with intention.

Long story short, lady cut my daughter's hair worse than her younger sister would have cut it. Didn't realize just how bad until after we left. I had asked about it looking uneven but the lady got super defensive and said it's perfectly straight and I'll be able to tell once dry. Called later and said it's still horrible so they said ok come back. Went back. I was being very polite and asking basic questions about why she was wetting only one side of my kid's hair to fix the error. The lady lost it. Said she won't cut my daughter's hair. She said I asked too many questions and she knows what she's doing. She didn't. Another lady tried to step in and apologize for the mean lady but I'd had enough by then and didn't trust that they could actually fix the problem (she was only gonna wet one side and cut!!!!!). Felt bad for my daughter but we went home and I fixed it myself.

Young Attitudes is the BEST! Denise is so talented and all of the stylists and staff work so hard, and they are a delight. Pam, Gladys, MaryAnn -everyone really cares and while I've been a very satisfied customer for years and years, they have taken their guest experience to new heights during covid. They are diligently implementing every single CDC guideline and protocol, and I feel completely safe. Most of all, I have only had superb haircuts, styling, and color. Over the years, I've gotten haircuts, braids, curls, up-do's, and special event styling - every time is sheer (shear? :) perfection. They do kids and adults, and I highly, highly recommend Young Attitudes.
