I had an emergency with my dog and was not near his usual vet, I called Sherman Oaks Vet and they told me I could come in right away. When I got there everyone was very kind and patient with me, while I freaked out. I had to leave my dog overnight, which I've never done before, but he was definitely in good hands. Dr. Lockhart was great and I am so thankful for him. All the staff was awesome.
This place is like a fantasy. The vet is actually normal, informative, and empowers dog owners. Dr. Andy actually listened to me, considered what I was saying, and was willing to work with me. Her confidence in her dad’s abilities in orthopedics and decisions around whether surgeries are actually needed were heart warming and made me feel more like my dog would be treated as part of the family rather than a card to swipe. Update 10/19: took my dog today and Dr. Goss treated her. He remembered her from her last visit a year ago. He is patient and informative. The team here is so caring. We know our pets are in good hands.
