Took a refresher course in preparation for a trip this winter. Instructor was very friendly, patient, and helpful with getting me comfortable in the water again. He was able to tell me a lot about the area I'll be diving in as well and seemed very knowledge. As a nervous out-of-practice diver I left the pool feeling very confident and excited to get back out in the water!

Did a great GUE performance class with LA Scuba Diving. Steve was the most professional instructor I’ve experienced in my dive journey and I’ll continue to work with him going forward. 10/10.

Did my drysuit certification recently with Steve. It had been several years since I last dove and Steve was great at integrating tidbits of “refresher” skills throughout the course as well as sharing practical tips and tricks when it came to managing a drysuit - skills that may not necessarily be taught but comes about with decades of diving experience. I’m also an anxious perfectionist so I appreciated Steve’s patience and ability to pick up on how his students are feeling, and more importantly - helping them stay calm and have fun through the process!
