Excellent eye care for my cat, Starr. She had cornea surgery many years ago and Dr Silverman also treated her when she had flare ups from feline herpes. I did not think to write a review previously so here it is now!
My 14 yr old lab - shepherd' s eye started bulging out and she lost her vision within a day. My vet, Dr Suman referred me to Dr Silverman, the eye specialist for an urgent visit. Something was very wrong and the Dr recommended enucleation (total eye removal). He also gave me other procedural options some eye drops for a few days. I was horrified at the thought of doing this to Sisi and the cost. He was very informative and provided it all in writing. Yea, the office workers aren't the warmest. Not sure I was either.. but the eye was removed, he cooperated with my vet, Dr Suman, I felt taken care of. A month later sisi required another surgery (@no cost) to clean up a suture that was poking thru the deep layers. Sisi is old but is recovering; walks and eats and seems less phased by the absence of her eye... than I am. Yay, Dr Silverman, may the God of the dogs bless and protect you!
Highly recommend Complete Animal Eye Care and Dr. Silverman. They took such good care of our Cane Corso Gino, after he was sprayed in the face by a skunk. Thanks to Dr.Silverman and staff, our pup can see again.
