The Hive Salon is a whole vibe! Unsuspecting how radiant it is judging from the outside. You’re immediately greeted with warm smiles upon arrival. The abundance of lush foliage provides clean oxygen that you breathe in as soon as you enter.
It’s aesthetically pleasing as you can tell all the details were very intentional. From the reusable hand towels, artwork on display to eco friendly product selection.
I arrived a few minutes early. Bounthong was finishing up with her client who was an older gentleman. She had him looking fresh and he gave her a hug as he departed.

I have been going to Bounthong for about 15 years now and she always kills it every time with my hair! She is amazing at coloring, cutting and styling. Not to mention she is just a ball of fun! Thank you for always making me look and feel beautiful, the therapy sessions and all the laughs! Can't wait for my next appointment at The Hive!
I have followed Bounthong from the salon where I met (almost 6 years) to the new shop, #TheHive in Sebastopol. Always a great cut and worthwhile to keep visiting. Bounthong knows how to deal with difficult hair. Worth an appointment and visit.
