I had my first session with Douglas today. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. We started off talking and then he had me walk. I am a dancer and have great balance and move well on the dance floor. But walking always felt clunky to me. I felt that I never learned to walk correctly and he helped me with that today. It was hard but I went home and walked through my neighborhood slowly focusing on what he told me. Then I walked again tonight and what I noticed was I felt no tension in my neck or shoulders. It still feels alien to me but that is to be expected. It was a great session. Thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and look forward to seeing him again soon. Thank you Douglas.
When I went to Doug, I was in pretty bad shape. I had a chronic case of sciatica, a sore hip and a knee with severe osteoarthritis. I was basically unable to work, stand or sit for long, and my walking was limited. In a few structural massage sessions, I was well enough to be able to exercise on a regular basis and walk normally. He was a life saver as far as I concerned. His skills are impressive and he has many tools in his tool box besides regular massage. This guy is an expert in his field.
