The California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery is a pretty special place to place your loved ones to rest. The cemetery is located amongst nature which gives the feeling like a piece of Heaven. The cemetery is located in Seaside which was formerly Fort Ord. Office staff are terrific and the grounds crew are alright but always busy and don't have time to talk. Whenever I visit I try to clean up the area around the columbarium where loved ones are resting. The grounds crew don't touch peoples flowers, etc. I remove the dead flowers and try to keep the stone area clean. Cemetery is clean and quiet. Spoke with the security guard on Saturday because I couldn't find my friend's grave. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Helped me find the grave in minutes. Nice to know someone is here on the weekends to assist if needed. God bless.
My little brother is his final resting place here. It is very peaceful and calm. May the soul rest in peace. The grounds are taken care of the staff that we met was wonderful. Rest in peace Freddie Junior.
