Dropped off a silk shawl to be cleaned. It was returned with significant color damage and molting due to heat. They offered to repair it for free. When I went to pick it up, the repair was incomplete and they charged me for it. I'd like to echo all of the other customers of this place to say, I don't trust them and I'll never use them again.
I dropped of my mink coat to get cleaned, along with some pants for my friend who was getting them tailored. We both asked Freshte what it would cost, which she didn’t have an answer for, and she said she can call to let us know, which she didn’t. We asked if it would cost hundreds of dollars which she said matter of factly, “oh no, no!”. Usually a coat can cost about $150.00, and considering it was already cleaned before, should be closer to that cost. I brought in a very expensive sweater and when I picked it up it was on a metal hanger (hanging like a shirt as opposed to folded over) and it smelled of body odor. I brought it back and they did a redo for free. When I picked it up the second time it still smelled like body odor. It could have been part of the cleaning process, however it shouldn’t smell like that. Upon dealing with their temporary worker (white woman in her early 70s), she was rude and condescending to me and then told me to hang it out on the patio. Wow.
