It’s great place to buy groceries at and I have a friend that works there

I had the best experience at Vons today, thanks to the amazing barista, Sierra, at the Starbucks counter! From the moment I walked up, she greeted me with a friendly smile and was super helpful in making sure I got exactly what I wanted. She even took the time to precisely describe each of the three new Frapuccino flavors--Salted Caramel Mocha (being the sweetest), Brown Sugar (sweetest mostly on the topping with a stronger pure coffee flavor throughout the rest of the drink), and the Strawberry Matcha (sweet, but not too sweet). I thoroughly enjoyed the new Strawberry Matcha Frappuccino. It had just the right amount of Matcha Green Tea containing antioxidants and Vitamin C in the Strawberry puree with Oatmilk and the non-dairy whipped topping. The perfect blend of creamy matcha and sweet strawberry, which was mostly flavored by the strawberries as I reached the bottom of the drink--refreshing, unique, and delicious. I would buy it again! This drink was made to perfection, and it was clear that Sierra put in the extra effort to ensure quality. Plus, the atmosphere was so welcoming and calm, making it a great place to stop and relax for a bit. Highly recommend this location--definitely coming back!

This is my local grocery store because I hate Walmart and their business practices. This Vons has everything I need which is my criteria for a grocery store. The staff is friendly enough, and help me when requested, particularly when I cannot find a product. I do find the store a bit dirtier than say an Albertsons, but it is fine given the age of this store. The sign inside still says "Saugus" but in 1987 Saugus, Canyon Country, Newhall, and Valencia were subsumed under the name Santa Clarita. That was 38 years ago and they have not changed the sign or significantly cleaned/straightened up the store. I'd like the store to get a full remodel but you will find what you need at this location.
