We took an hour trail ride today. We had a really nice time and the horses were really calm and sweet. It was a wonderful experience for my boyfriend who has never been on a horse before.
It’s sad that the pandemic changed this lovely Farm. The people worked here were nice and warm . But today we met some messy persons here. When we waited outside the arena next to the winery for picking up our wines of this season, a middle-aged woman driving a dark red truck stopped in front of us, and warned us there were snakes. We thought she was kind though we never heard about the snakes around this place in the past years. After we moved to the entry of the hay shed, this woman came again. She told us this was a private place instead of a public park and we should not be here. We told her we will leave immediately. After knowing us had been the members of the wine club, she became angry and impatient. And though she left later, she kept patrolling around us after we left the shed, making the phone call and talked with other workers here having her eyes on us at the same time. And her friend, a young lady driving a white Ram Truck stopped without turning off the engine. She repeated the woman’s words in a rude tune. She told us she was working here. I am not sure whether she though we were not the real membership or not. As the ten years old members, she and her old friend look really unfamiliar to us. It’s sad my 3 years old son watched the whole scene and scared by these rude people. We had the riding courses for the whole family every week before our younger boy was born and we planed to send the little one to it when he is old enough. I hope Garrod Farm will still be a kind and nice place for everyone, and I would never meet this kind of messy people again.
Great people delicious wine
