After reading and researching truck driving schools I decided to go with Western Truck Driving. Loki with Admissions and Career Services was very helpful getting me signed up for the course and answered all my questions leading up to starting the program. They have new instructors, Dakarai, George, and Jim, who have worked in the industry for 20-30+ years each. They assessed how well I drove behind the wheel at the beginning and instructed me as needed. They gave me pointers/suggestions to help master my skills. With other class groups learning at the same time as me they were able to schedule the students time get adequate driving time behind the wheel. By the time I completed the course I was very competent maneuvering a truck and trailer through the docking skills and road tests that's required to pass the DMV Class A examination. I now have my CDL license and now applying for work! I'm glad to have my license now with the huge demand for truckers. Thank you Western Truck School for preparing me for the trucking industry!

I got my CDL through this school. Instructors are great and patient. They don't charge extra is you want to go with the manual. It's not the cheapest school out there but they also only take 6 students per class. So it's very personal. They teach safety not just enough to pass your test. If you want to be a trucker this is where to go. If you choose these guys, there is no doubt you will pass your dmv test, and most likely on your first try.
If you’re interested in obtaining your Class A or Class B license, then this is the school to go to. Susan in the office is wonderful and probably the nicest person on the planet. She makes sure all your paperwork is completed properly and takes the time to thoroughly explain the process. What made the process even better is that she genuinely cares. Awesome! Alberts field experience and patience really makes it easy to learn everything needed to pass the written and driving tests. He truly is a master truck driver. Together they’re a stellar team and would recommend this school to everyone seeking a career in trucking. Thank you Susan and Albert! 5 Stars!
