Today I had eli valentine work on my roof. He was awesome. He made sure my house was sealed. He is responsible and always does a great job. I have had three roofs put in over the years. Never once did I ever had a problem. I highly recommend his business.

My roof started leaking a year after getting solar. The solar roofer came out and said the issue was the transition between my main roof and the porch addition. I reached out to Valentine (they had been recommended on local FB group that is my first stop for local home repair connections) to get a quote on this repair. They were very responsive and communicative. They did not advise this repair, and instead said that it was the solar penetrations. They were kind enough to provide a written assessment for our use with the solar company. I don't recommend this company. I was nice enough & sympathetic to pay more when the owner called about the lumber price spike. I gave in because it has to be done quickly & I didn't want to go through another process of screening. I've noticed that a gutter was moved, nails on the ground, debris after the installation. They came back & denied they touched the gutter when it required a screw to fasten to an overhang. I followed up then I get a nasty email from the owner's wife. A few months later I need a roofing service done. I decided I won't hire them again.
