To be honest, I hate getting my hair cut in a traditional "SALON". They smell of, well, all sorts of things I don't like, are never comfortable for a man. Allure is actually attractive, convenient in the SYValley, you just have to make your way through lots of strange heads full of tin foil and ignore the stares. This is NOT a guy's world. That said, I go for one reason, and one reason only, JANET VILLA, a smart, talented, calm and kind young mom who does make me feel welcomed and comfortable and cuts a mean head 'o hairs. I've been going for about a year or so and have recommended about a dozen friends, men and women and have not had a single person do anything but rave. And, she is reasonable. A friend who just moved to the area from Beverly Hills (yes, I know), who was used to paying up to $200bux for a cut, is now paying $35.00 for "just as good a cut". In general, all her prices are fair. JV is also a WIZ as weddings and special parties, regularly going hair and makeup with a team. I know I would recommend her for her truly calm demeanor.
