Trim and Proper Grooming Parlor provides an excellent and thorough grooming service where dogs always look fresh and adorable. The atmosphere is wonderful, with thoughtful, caring, and super friendly staff who handle nervous pets really well. The groomers are respectful and provide great communication, using texts and phone calls. They listen carefully to a pet's specific needs, explaining their process and products in detail. The business is known for its reasonable price and for going out of its way to accommodate clients, even opening on normally closed days during busy seasons. The shop itself is super adorable. Many customers have used the service for years, stating it is the best grooming their pet has had, and they highly recommend getting on the wait list for this awesome salon.
Long over due revoew: Mylo, my rat terrier. has been coming here for close to 8 years now. We get nail trims but have gotten a wash and some color. He isnt the easiest dog sometimes and can be nippy but they are amazing with him and patient, which I appreciate more than I can describe. Ive taken him to another groomer before more of a commercial animal store and though they did their best, comparatively i could tell the skill from Trim and Proper Is unmatched. This was our first time coming to Trim and Proper and we will go no where else moving forward. We have been trying so many different groomers in the area and no one else compares. Janel was caring, thoughtful and accommodating to our little pup’s personality. The actual grooming was made with care and attention to detail. Janel even explained the various types of fur/hair textures in our pup to us at pick up. She took her time and got to know our pup and made her feel at ease. We will definitely return as it is clear that she cares and is extremely skilled. So satisfied! My Puggle Mikey is very reactive and especially hates to have his nails trimmed. Or that is, until we discovered Trim and Proper! He isn’t even nervous when we get out of the car…. He runs right in and doesn’t make a fuss! Now I take him there for a bath and de-shedding every time he finishes a shedding stage.. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Trim and Proper.
