Those who know me, are aware that I’m kind of a “Barber Snob”. I’m extremely picky when I choose services to get a straight razor head shave and beard trim. I found myself in need of a barber near Guerneville, California (I live in San Francisco but will be in Guerneville quite a bit going forward). I did a lot of research online before deciding to check out Stay True Barbershop which is about 30 minutes away in Santa Rosa. Corey (the owner) turned out to be a great guy…very personable and funny. More importantly though, he provided phenomenal service!! I could not be happier with the results. Corey is awesome. As a trans man it is hard to find a barber shop that is affirming and comfortable but this spot checks the box. The haircuts are spot on and the fade is flawless. Definitely the spot to go in town.
Great shop and great guy! Corey listened to my son and asked good questions to make sure he understood what was wanted. The vibe is chill and laid back, but Corey is an absolute professional. He studied the hair from every angle to make sure it was perfect. My son loved the hot towel and massage treatment! we will be back. This is now our go to barber for the boy!! Thanks Corey!!
