If you feel a lack of health care from this clinic. File a formal complaint higher up. Ask your parents advocate for a formal complaint form. Make sure you get there name and phone incase they don't do there job. I did a formal complaint on VA dental in Sacramento, because they called there dental doctors real dr. But what you got was someone right out of school. All they know is how to pull teeth. I now go to a private dentist, someone with ten + years of knowledge. 11/27/2024: Ooooof~I wasn't feeling well . . . AGAIN -- __ -- ! It's AS IF, I have another bout with COVID times THREE! Welp~It's been determined I have severe allergies inundated with asthma breathing problems culminating into shortness of breath~waaaaah! Anyway, the VA Doctor stated just keep using the prescribed medication because there isn't a cure for my suffering. Aside, waiting only took FIVE MINUTES which is absolutely phenomenal! BTW: The Head Nurse was cool, too!
My experience at the Santa Rosa VA has been exceptional except for my blood draw. I have very fine veins and the person doing my blood draw used a big needle after I explained that only a fine butterfly needle could work. I could not believe that she used a medium if not large needle and stuck it deep into my arm. She got no blood and put me through immeasurable pain! I have never had this happen before ever! After all that my blood work was never sent to me. At age 70 I really should be considered to be the expert on what my needs are. She completely discounted everything. Then she referred me to a supervisor who said oh I see what you mean! Not happy!
