We went on the tour of the Recology facility
Quite an eye-opener
Very dedicated staff, knowledgeable, patient and kind👍 Bravo to the gentleman that spoke with us and then took us on the tour as well
A great way to learn what psychology is all about.
Things are very hard-working people doing their best for our environment👍💜
Attended ReUse Bazaar 2026. Lots of fun and left with some very inexpensive treasures. Saw attendees leave with very nice stuff that would have cost a lot of money. Not overly crowded and attendees were very considerate. Recology staff was enthusiastic and very helpful.
We visited the recycling plant in Santa Rosa last week. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the guides and by the machinery that sorted all the items from the recycling collections. I had a lot of questions, as did others, on what could or could not be recycled, and appreciated the anwers. I now wish that all the clients of recology got such precise answers. Then maybe the bins would not be quite as full of wrong items as the ones we saw.
Thank you for the great tour and the useful freebies.
