Her extraordinary knowledge and joy for the art of recycling made the tour, not only informative, which it absolutely was, but her enthusiasm resulted in my wanting to spread the word and make sure the world is aware of how vitally important recycling is to our earth.

I have a large commercial facility in Petaluma, we needed 16 dumpsters changed out, Jose Alvarado the Operations Supervisor did an amazing job! Coordinated everything around our business needs and guest needs, very polite and professional, great to work with- Recology is very lucky to have such an amazing employee.
I took the MRF tour today and it was excellent. The work that goes in to recycle our waste is truly remarkable; both high tech and also labor intensive. It also made me realize the impact of our (my) actions on things we take for granted like our weekly trash pickup. Something that might seem innocent like putting the wrong items in the wrong bin and thinking it’s not a big deal means someone, a human, at the MRF needs to fix it. That compounds. So the take away, for me at least, is to be more mindful of what I recycle and how I recycle. A little effort does go a long way. I’d recommend this tour to anyone, as I think many will find it really eye opening.
