JGC truck was awesome. All of the instructors are great. Everyone was very helpful, informative, relaxed and understanding. I previously had experience driving a manual but not a heavy duty truck or double shifting. It was different but got the hang of it quick with their guidance.
I took my DMV test on a Friday and got flustered when doing the offset backup on there training ground and ended up failing. They rescheduled the my test for the following week at no extra cost. The DMV charged me another $46 to take the test. Passed the test the second time around no problem.
Everyone at JGC is respectful. Would go it again here if I ever had to. Hope I don't though.
I just completed my tenure at JGC Truck Driving School and I was very pleased on how everything went. Jose Sr and his sons Rudy and Jose Jr were very informative and very helpful. Their teaching style is very calm and collected and they’ll give you all the time you need to fully understand what you’re doing with the truck. You drive a 10 speed manual transmission so once you get your class A you won’t be restricted to only automatic. I highly, highly recommend this school if you’re looking to get your CDL Class A and into the trucking world.
