I've only been at Karuna stables for a short time, but I'm super impressed with a few details that other horse geeks will appreciate. The hay is tested and minerals are fed to balance what the hay doesn't have that the horses need. The horses have ample, safe, turnout, many with grazing muzzles. Anne's training methods are breaking some of my old habits that I didn't even realize I had. If you're interested in a drama and judgement free environment where there is still discipline and training, this is your stable and your trainer.

Anne and her team at Karuna are great. I've had my horse with her for four months now for rehab/training and he is doing better than ever despite getting older. Unlike other barns, the team has a deep knowledge of equine nutrition, correct movement and correct hoof trimming and their effects on the health and performance of a horse. Everything is based on being as close to nature as possible, they feed timothy and orchard hay and they have it tested regularly. My horse is coming back from a tendon injury and Anne has been riding my boy in the correct frame to allow strengthening and in accordance with the doctor's plans.
