I love this place. They take my call, come out to the Russian River where our business is located and solve the problem! Restaurant equipment repairs are pricey and being out on the River often incurs travel time for our service needs. So when we have a service provider that is reputable and works as hard as we do I'm happy to share the experience.

We inherited an old Traulson sub-zero refrigerator when we bought our home in Guerneville over 10 years ago. It required service a couple of times over the years, and although it generally serves commercial customers, Food Equipment Repair Service always came through in a timely fashion with very competent technicians and reasonable rates. When the freezer side compressor recently gave up the ghost, the company advised us that replacing it would be very costly and that the limited further life of the unit did not justify the expense. Because of our prior business, it offered to remove the behemoth without charge, a job for which a junk removal company no doubt would have charged plenty. Three pleasant young men came this morning and managed to get the refrigerator out of the house and down a dozen steps without mishap. I wish all repair service companies could be as reliable as this one.

We have called on Food Equipment Repair Service several times and they have always come through with exceptional service. Most recently our large range was not operating properly and the other company we called diagnosed a "runaway thermostat" but did not have the part and offered no other solutions - a real problem as we were preparing to serve 600 Thanksgiving dinners at our church. I called Food Equipment Repair Service because they had helped us with our commercial dishwasher/sanitizer - they were out immediately and although they did not have the part in stock, they were able to delve into the range more thoroughly and with came up with a fix to keep us up and running.
