You can get a good flattop here if you like. #1 (short) clipper around the sides. You can ask for a flattop even if you have thinning hair, and a good barber will go ahead do it, as happens here.
This was my first haircut since the pandemic began so basically 4 years. Someone on Nextdoor recommended this place saying it was super chill etc. They take walk-ins during the week and appointments on Saturday. The shop isn't huge by any means and they have 3 barber chairs. Two barbers were cutting hair when I showed up on a Friday morning with two guys waiting. There is Bay Area memorabilia hanging on the walls (photos, autographed boxing gloves etc) giving the impression that many famous athletes/boxers have come through the shop. The shop is not fancy but the barbers take their time and do an amazing job. I was a bit nervous and told my barber Christen to do what he thinks will look the best (they cut hair for a living so why not let them decide?). Could not be more happy and will definitely come back!
Best place I've ever gotten my haircut. I will continue coming here for the great conversations and atmosphere. All the Barber's are great. Thanks Bobby for always giving me a great haircut.
