Cedars Sinai Neurologist William Wei Chow (license number 64697) falsified medical records, together with his secretary Verna Daigle, after he misdiagnosed a patient with severe anxiety. In reality, this patient was dying from a cancerous tumor that was causing intractable epilepsy. Once Dr Chow realized what he had done, he and his secretary refused to hand over the patient’s medical records. Once these records were subpoenaed, the doctor and his secretary created a false document, as well as removed certain records from the file.
