Blaine from Santa Monica Lock & Safe is a magician . This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to immediately write a review for a business . I consider myself a handy person but I could not have picked a better service when deciding to call these guys . I had a key break in my ignition . 80 % of the key was lodged nearly 1.5 inches into the ignition barrel . I had several mechanics look at it and everyone told me I would need to replaced the ignition housing and quoted me a price 5x the price it cost for Blaine to show up and resolve it in 30 minutes .
My first review ever just cuz these guys are so great! The trunk lock on my 1978 MG wouldnt open. They were able to drill a discreet hole beneath the push button, use a scope in the hole to get into the lock, then remove it bend it around and fix it, and now my MG is back to normal with the original lock still in there doing its job! Anyone else would have just drilled it out making a big hole, opened the trunk and been like cool now your trunk is open, go find a vintage lock from a junk yard somewhere if you want it fixed. Best service and best result! And very nice guys to boot
Blaine from Santa Monica Lock and Safe has saved me again. My safe swelled (I did not know this) and it would not open. It was making me nuts.
Blaine came out on time, actually early and in 10 minutes my safe was open and he explained what happened, told me things I could do to not have this happen again, made sure all was well and left.
He is the nicest guy and the quality of their service is great. I have a Gardall safe and if you ever need help give them a call.
