They charged me $300, to open the door, and at first, he couldn’t even open it—it took more than an hour. It was an emergency for me, so I had no choice but to pay, but I don’t think another locksmith would have charged that much. It should have been half the price. Plus, he promised to install a new lock that would work with my existing key, but in the end, he didn’t do it.
On top of that, he tried to scam me when I paid the $300. When I handed him the cash, he took it, stepped back, and then suddenly claimed I had only given him $200. If we hadn’t been at the bank with the police, I’m sure he would have kept insisting I only gave him $200 to make...read full review
They seemed too busy, and the person who answered the phone seemed engaged and said we 'just do not carry the lock'; call who installed it".
Why does he think I am calling him? Since the manufacturer had referred to them as a preferred vendor, there is no preference here. They are not going to hear from me ever again.
Had to constantly call to follow up to schedule appointments, and to get them to give us a bid for the work we wanted done after they came on site. Did not respond to emails after we did get the bid. A 2nd bid for 2 intercom panels they never produced at all. Calling and asking for the manager (owner) only got a response of "he's only here in the mornings". Never did hear from him. Did eventually get a email response from the wife (owner) but never heard back from her either to schedule or address the issues.
So if hounding vendors to send work their way is your thing, these people might be for you!
