I have never visited an Alo store in person, typically ordering all my items online. However, since I was staying in the area, I decided to visit. The customer service I received was exceptional. I was greeted and offered assistance by three or four different employees throughout the store. They were not aggressive; they were genuinely helpful and willing to assist me. In the back, I was personally assisted by a young woman with a beautiful accent. During her time, she got off work, and her colleague Jon continued where she left off without missing a beat. This is one of my go to spot on the promenade, when I need to refresh my wellness wardrobe, or just reset with a little retail therapy. The store is bright, clean, and curated beautifully, but what really stood out on my last visit was the staff.

The team was so helpful and incredibly kind even while handling a few challenging moments outside the store. Let’s just say it’s not always easy working in a high traffic area, and I really appreciate how calm, respectful, and protective they were when some guests (like myself and a few other women) felt uncomfortable by the behavior of individuals nearby. Two guys helped me at Alo Santa Monica today and they were incredibly kind. One of them noticed my Alo shoes were a little dusty and offered a cleaner to freshen them up, which was so thoughtful. They also helped me fix a missing item from another store. I bought something today as well, and I wish I knew their names because they truly deserve recognition for their amazing service!
