I just moved to the area and was looking for a new barber. It's usually an excruciating process because I'm pretty picky about my hair, and it usually takes a few bad haircuts to find the right spot. Because of the reviews I read, I went to Surf City for my first haircut in a new city. I'm not exaggerating when I say this, Glen gave me the best haircut I've ever had, hands down. I usually don't do reviews, but in this case, I want people to know Glen is the real deal. I couldn't be happier with my experience, and I've become a lifelong customer as long as I live within driving distance. Thank you Glen!

I trusted Glen to cut my hair the day before officiating my best friend's wedding. Not only was he warm and friendly, he did an excellent job: I got compliments on my hair the next day! This is my new barbershop and I'm looking forward to going back.

I have searched long and far for too many years for the right barber, and the day I went to Roosters in Aptos for a haircut and met Glen for the first time, my hair and I both agreed that this was an experience neither of us could have anticipated. As charming and warm as he is artistic, he met my every cosmetic need and provided me with a sense of relief that I had found my barber. He told me I could find him at Surf City, and to no surprise at all I walked into a space so full of fetching style and personal expression I couldn't help but feel I was intruding! Naturally, Glen could never make me feel more welcome. Make this your new spot, and you won't regret it!
