top-notch salon especially for color treatment and fancy kind of hairstyles. Great place to go if you're putting on make up for a TV show or a costume party or Halloween or whatever prices are competitive for downtown Santa Cruz. Best of all they have DJs on Friday nights, and the place turns into a bit of a party. Plenty of local artists show their work and they have fashion shows coming up.

Jean-Marie is a genius with hair. I don't understand it, but somehow he cuts it so everything just sits nicely without any styling. Like, it sits right after I wake up, or get out of the surf or whatever. I've never known a hairdresser that was able to do that before. You can see he takes his time where needed and pays a lot of attention to the details. He's awesome - highly recommended.

Jean Marie is the best! It was my second time coming to OXY because it is such in a convenient location downtown of Santa Cruz, but the first day I came and got a haircut, the boy I liked told me he liked me. Haha and I told Jean Marie the coincidence when I went back after a few month and he said that was no coincidence! He's just that good! Anyway, great place! We miss u Keeper*!
