About East Cliff Family Health Center
East Cliff Family Health Center offers a mix of positive and negative experiences for its patients. Many reviews highlight the kindness and professionalism of the staff, including doctors and assistants, who are praised for their caring approach and responsiveness to health needs. Patients appreciate the comfortable environment and the quality of care received, especially from the acupuncture services provided by a specific practitioner. However, several challenges need addressing. The parking situation is frequently mentioned as problematic, with limited spaces and a full lot. The phone system is also a significant issue, with long hold times, difficulty reaching a human representative, and a lack of follow-up on return calls. Additionally, patients report long waiting times for appointments, often needing to wait a month or more for care, and express concern about the center being short-staffed. Some patients also noted that the clinic does not provide certain services like X-rays or braces, which may require individuals to seek care elsewhere for specific injuries. Despite these challenges, many patients still recommend East Cliff Family Health Center for its dedicated staff and overall care quality, hoping for improvements in operational efficiency.
what a joke. 3 week plus wait to get a phone appointment to get approved for bloodwork which then i'll have to wait longer for? happens every time i've tried to schedule for any reason
taking my child there, this is what we've come across. needs improvement= the parking is bad. spaces are too small and the lot is usually full. the phone systems is bad. difficult to get through to a human. long hold times. no return call if you select for them to call you back. booked far out, difficult to get an appointment. Short staffed. need to hire more employees. lots of waiting and then quick appointments. if you have something that needs immediate (before a month+ out) attention you have to go elsewhere. orders that they send never go through. way too many appointment reminders. One would suffice. no one knows where to check in. upstairs, downstairs. (observed this while waiting in the waiting room). incorrect information given and mistakes. no xrays, no crutches, no brace, no wheelchair. if you sprain something go elsewhere. (observed this while waiting in the waiting room). it seems that most of these would be easy fixes, starting with more staff. too much demand. Pros- nice new building, nice employees. better than most places.
The new location is beautiful however it's impossible to find a parking spot. This is our fourth time to the new location and each time has been extremely challenging. Both my boys see Dr.Crummer who was amazing, we have seen him since they were newborns. Unfortunately, when you call, you can never get through to anyone and then you trust that you leave your number at the callback system that you will get a callback, but you never do. The wait time to get into a room and then to wait for your doctor/nurse is unbearable. They seem extremely busy and understaffed. Today when we were waiting for our name to be called two patients came in to make appointments because they couldn't get through by calling! As much as I don't want to leave Dr.Crummer as my boys pediatrician I cannot deal with not being able to get a hold of someone by phone for my children's healthcare. We will be looking for a new pediatrician in the area.
