My wife and I wanted Drumskull djembes for years because of the style and quality, and in May we got our two favorite shells reheaded. Been playing them every day 3 months now and they're worth every penny. These are the best djembes we have ever owned. I've reheaded a few dozen djembes myself, but the quality of their work and tight pitch is clearly next level. The only problem is I feel like I'm driving a racecar but it's just driving us to practice more and hone our skills. I would recommend them to anyone who is seriously interested in music. Their staff is also very knowledgeable and willing to help with any obscure drum questions you have. Thanks Drumskull!

I was gifted a djembe by a dear friend who was moving out of town and it needed a new skin. After some research and a couple of fortuitous leads I discovered Drumskull Drums, spoke with Sahar and selected a date to bring in my djembe. Matt instantly recognized it as an early Paulo Mattioli, and we so selected the rope and the finish and a couple of weeks later I came to pick it up just before a gig and all I can say is WOW! Great service, craftsmanship and attention to detail. And the sound is everything I imagined and more. Thank you Sahar and Matt - y'all are The Bomb!
