We had an Incompetent nurse named Shelley on the day shift. How she got her license we have no idea. She doesn't seem to know what she is doing and doesn't care. She's so rude and tried to blame my family member. We requested a new nurse because of her screw up that could have been fatal this week. We have a meeting with the hospital administrator. I'd be weary of her if she is your nurse.
5 Stars for NURSE EIREANN She provided a comforting + encouraging experience and detailed explanations on multiple subjects. Dominican Hospital overall offered a great experience. There was a language barrier between a family member and the doctors/nurses but an interpreter was offered right away. We hope to not have to visit again for the wrong reasons, but if we had to pick a place, this would be a preference.
2/3/2024- Emergency Room A Female security told us to put on masks after being there for 2 hours and many staff members were not wearing masks or wearing them properly. At no time did any medical professional challenge us not wearing a mask. Many patients were not wearing masks. Female security came back again and said this was our second warning and if we didn't comply she would call the police and ask us to leave. Even after pointing out nurses and doctors not wearing masks they replied with they are or they are putting one on. The security was jeopardizing the health of my husband forcing us to wait outside and wait in the rain because we would not wear a mask. Staff...read full review
