Doris of Valley Gurl Skin just moved her business to the CUTEST witchy shop and I’m obsessed. Hair Havok is a hidden gem in Santa Clarita. I had no idea this oasis of living dead oddities existed in the unassuming Soledad Canyon plaza of SC but I am SO GLAD to have found it (thanks to Doris).
Doris has been taking care of my maturing yet still acne prone skin for about a year. I always leave her studio glowing, moisturized and relaxed. Adding on lash tints for the summer pool months (no mascara please) is a must. This was my first time at her new location, Hair Havok, where they also do hair, nails, waxing, lash extensions, and tattoos?! So rad. Besides Doris’s magic hands, today I splurged at the oddities shop and left with some delicious candles (I seriously wanted to purchase every one they offered) and some fun spooky tees & socks. I had Hope as my stylist. She did amazing! It’s been a few weeks and it still looks beautiful when I style, and feels really soft. I’ve been recommending her to everyone who compliments my hair.

Firstly, everyone here seemed friendly and there is really only one reason why I’m giving it 3 stars. It just has to do with price. I got my hair colored, did some highlights with vibrant color and what I expected to pay, and was quoted was $200, which I was ok with. However, as the lady started to do my hair she said I needed a cut. I agreed because my hair had many split ends and was practically dead. However, I didn’t expect the cut to cost an extra $100. I was not informed that it would be that much, and definitely not prepared to spend $300 after I thought I’d only be spending $200. Had she mentioned it would be an extra $100 for a cut, I would’ve not had it done. That’s a huge jump. For that reason, I would probably not come back. However, I love my hair but I did not expect to end up spending $300 on my hair when quoted $200.

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you! I had such a wonderful experience with Brenna today. The shop was absolutely adorable and Brenna was sweet and friendly. I loved that she thoroughly listened to what I had in mind and gave me confidence to change things up and try a middle part! Her scalp massage was amazing and the way she cut my hair with such skill and precision put my nerves about trying someone new at ease. She styled my hair and said to text her if I didn't like something or needed any tweaks. Pleased feels like understatement. I can't wait for my next visit!!

Brenna took care of me and she was amazing. I appreciated the care in the details and the conversation. Going back in July for color. I recommend! Loved the decoration and the handheld mirror she has at her station.

very nice and cool girl but very over priced for my haircut. the haircut was very nice and i was happy with the result but I do not believe it was worth almost $300 it was a simple trim and color. was so excited to have found a hair lady but u cannot pay that kind of price again.

I’ve gone to Hair Havok twice and have my 3rd appointment with Brenna. She is amazing at what she does and leaves me feeling more confident and hair- healthy than before! Also, the place is super cool and offers so much more services than just hair! Couldn’t recommend any more!!!
