I absolutely love Citadel. Mr. V and his wife Gisella are incredible people and foster a great learning environment. Prior to joining a little under a year ago, I had little to no martial arts experience. Thanks to the Citadel team, I have grown so much! I am thankful for each instructor. They push you to do your best, but also meet you where you are. The culture is lively, intense and fun. I also appreciate the fact that instructors emphasize intensity, but prioritize safety. John Veverka is an incredible instructor. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time. I love the camaraderie here in the studio, the life saving skills I've learned, and the patience and persistence that is instilled in each and every one of us. I feel that I am on equal footing with everyone here and part of a family.
