I rarely write reviews unless the service was absolutely exceptional. What that said, Blue Jay Construction definitely deserve a 5 star review (honestly, he deserves 10 stars). We were initially referred to Hector (owner) & his team by our pool builder (JM Pools) to do all the masonry, tile, decking, lighting, plants, etc.

In the pool building world, there’s so many horror stories about going over budget, prolonged waiting, expectations vs reality, etc. We didn’t experience any of that working with Hector. Quite the opposite. We came in exactly on budget, finished earlier than expected, & we are absolutely thrilled with the results.

I had the good fortune of working with Hector and Blue Jay Construction for the coping and tile installation of our pool, as well as both our paver hardscape and landscape in the backyard.To say that we were pleased would be an understatement.He and his team did an amazing job.Just as important, they were very collaborative with us in both the overall design and execution of our ideas. I would highly recommend Blue Jay Construction & Hector Junior and his crew for any construction work you may need done. He provided us with a fair quote with several options, for the demolition and reconstruction of our Pergola; including the demolition of existing concrete and installing new concrete. Hector's crew was also careful to add the stone outline we had on our concrete. They take pride in their workmanship and it shows! We elected to get away from wood, as there was a constant need to repaint every 4-5 years which was quite costly. We switched to Alumawood. It will never have to be repainted again!
