Bad service. I came in to browse for a new pair of glasses and contacts. The front desk person immediately asked if I had an appointment, I said no, then asked me to leave. I asked if they had a list of brands for glasses, the physician said no and told me to leave. I was in the market to get new eye wear, and I believe I was being judged by my appearance. I do not recommend these places, especially since I was being judged by my appearance.

Initially, the owner seemed friendly and helpful during my eye exam and purchase of prescription sunglasses.
However, the excitement was short-lived. The glasses I received were defective, with lenses that didn't fit the frame properly and a noticeable gap between the two.
To add insult to injury, when I brought this to their attention, they were unapologetic and unhelpful, telling me that this was the best they could do and suggesting I wait until the end of the year to buy new ones using my insurance if I wasn't satisfied, This is unacceptable…

10 Stars! This was my first time using Optima. My prior experience getting eye glasses started many years ago with a highly recommended optometrist in Mt. View, then Costco in Mt. View, and I can say that the difference between them and Optima is night vs day. Reason: Optima is not a hurry-up production shop. They take the time to do a very thorough and detailed examination combined with what others have noted--Dr. Helena Nguyen is incredibly skilled and talented optometrist.
