AHC helped me put down my beloved dog who was almost 18 years old and then get my new dog through puppy-hood and I'll be forever grateful to them. Dr. Baines always explained what was going on and was very pragmatic in his recommendations, which I appreciate. Their prices are very reasonable, they are upfront about the price, and they offer you cheaper options when available. One of the few places I went in CA (for anything!) that didn't leave me reeling over how expensive it was!
