Self Service Car Wash is a no-frills and very dated DIY facility. It operates 24x7 and is fairly accessible. The business has a number of washing and drying stations, with equipment that is always ready to use, clean, and works well. Brushes, sprayers, and such are all kept in good order. Everything is coin operated, using small dollar coins, and the coin machines work well. However, the change machine does not take twenty-dollar bills. There are no time meters, so users must learn by experience, and a full deep cleaning may take more than two cycles. A common drawback is that visitors usually have to wait, as the place can be busy and would benefit from being a little bigger. The location is along the train tracks, an area noted for many homeless people and shady characters. The hose can be used to keep them away if they approach to beg for money. There are no attendants for assistance in the morning. Overall, it provides a low-price option for those who like to wash their car themselves.
Dated coin system with no meter or timer so you have to guess when you're running out of time. Options are lacking in the panel and hoses leak so you end up getting soaked too. The final nail was the dispenser for paper towels and air freshener ate money. No attendant or number in sight.

They don’t take 20 dollar bills! And no quarters, no credit cards. I guess I’ll have to come back.

Visited during our road trip in June 2024. In the morning there no attendants for assistance if needed. Pumps are ok but you need to know what you are doing. Full deep cleaning may take more than 2 cycles. Only advantage is it is fairly accessible and is 24x7.
