Great pedicure. Great Pedicurist. The loud disquieting profanity from the hair salon was NOT great. Stylists complaining about their clients, blasting profanity like we were in a Men's locker room, random friends of people that worked in the salon strolling in like they're not supposed to be there because they knew they weren't. Acting like they don't know how to behave in a salon because they clearly don't. I didn't expect Salon Del Mar to be like the Four Seasons but I didn't think it was going to sound like an underground barbershop after midnight
My review is for Betty Jean. She did my hair and makeup for my engagement photo session, and I was very pleased with how everything turned out. She listened to what I wanted, and she added her own suggestions (such as my lip stick color) that I ended up going with and loved. My final look turned out better than I had expected, and the pricing was reasonable for both services. Highly recommend!
Drove down to Santa Barbara for a wedding and made an appointment for an updo. Betty Jean (?) I apologize if I have the name. wrong) did my hair. She did such a great job. My husband complimented my hair over and over. I've had updos before but he never went on and on before! It was better than I expected. As well, she was fun to visit with. The price was reasonable. I will go back there in a heartbeat. Thank you! I'll post a picture when I get my husbands camera!
